The Palace of Versailles is one of France’s most famous historic monuments and one of the most visited attractions in the Paris area. Situated in the town of Versailles, around 20 kilometres south-west of central Paris, it was the principal residence of the French kings Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI.
The Palace of Versailles is renowned for its spectacular architecture, the famous Hall of Mirrors, the royal apartments and its vast gardens designed by André Le Nôtre. The estate also includes the Grand Trianon, the Petit Trianon and the Queen’s Hamlet.

From the Hôtel Migny: approximately 45 to 50 minutes by public transport. Take metro line 12 from Pigalle to Concorde. Then take metro line 8 to Les Invalides and the RER C to Versailles Château Rive Gauche. The palace is about a 10-minute walk from the station.
